Say What...?

So, I completely forgot I had this blog going. Seriously. It randomly popped into my head the other day. Whateva.

Soooo. I should be sleeping. I stayed up a bit to create a mini-portfolio type thing online just in case I decided to apply to any graphic-design-like job anytime soon. (I kinda saw one I was interested in and it said something about showing them your portfolio so, I got motivated.) I need to create more things. I don't remember the last time I was on Photoshop just for fun. I always get on it at work. Speaking of which...I've designed a few things for some customers at work. I'll have to e-mail those to myself and then I can add those to my portfolio! :D

Anyway, I need to sleep even though I'm not that sleepy. Guess I'll find a way eventually. Good night interwebs.

I can't wait to move out. I'm tired of living at home. I wish I didn't have to pay off these student loans. To think of all the extra money I could be saving if I didn't have those damn things to pay off... Money sucks.

Speaking of money, I heard the lottery's up to $304 million. I should buy a ticket or two..hahaha. I'd probably just be losing two bucks. meh

Bright side: tax refund soon! :D

What the heck..

It's a five finger (toe) shoe, apparently. I saw a billboard with it on there saying "what the heck is that?" And of course, I had to check it out because I saw it and was like, wtf are those?? hahaha

These may possibly be weirder and more awkward than Crocs. I mean, look at them! They remind me of those socks with the individual spaces for each toe, a foot glove more or less. Gosh I hate those. My mom got me some a while back and I couldn't stand them. I took them off and gave them to my sister. Creepy and uncomfortable. But according to the site, these are comfy. But I will never know because I don't think I'll be trying these on anytime soon...

Say what?..

I feel like I've abandoned this blog, and it's kind of sad, because I'll randomly think of stuff I'd like to write about and think "oh, I should write about that in blog!" but I never get around to doing it. I'll try harder to come around here and post stuff every so often.

Anywho, so work is work and life is well, life. OH! I filed my taxes for the first time ever yesterday. I was like, oh wow, I'm an adult. hahaha. It's weird, I've done a few things recently that make me feel like, whoa, I'm old, but I'm not really, because well, I'm only about to turn 23 in May, so I really shouldn't complain. BUT...in the past few months I got my license, opened up a savings account, got health insurance and now I filed my taxes. It's just weird..and scary. I miss not having to worry about things like loan payments and bills galore (ad I haven't even moved out yet, so that's the next big step...laterrr).

So...updates, lets see, oh! I got a ukulele! I'm excited to learn. This is my first instrument (lies, i got a keyboard but I gave up because i thought it was too hard [sad] )and I'm going to teach myself how to play it. I'm a little scared of giving up on this one, too, but I'm determined to learn. My fingers aren't used to being in all those crazy positions, so that's going to take some work and lot of practice :D

Ella ella, eh, eh eh...

I want/need a new umbrella. The one I have recently kind of broke and I just noticed today that it has rust on the inside..wtf? Ew. So I need a new one. And if you might ask, yes I have narrowed down my choices of umbrellas...to 3 :D

The only thing stopping me from buying one of these fabulous umbrellas is the prices, yikes. The cheapest one is the umbrella umbrella, but I think the sky one is so awesome. Looking up at the perfect sky would make me so happy on rainy days. The light saber one is mostly on here because its just plain awesome and well, I like it, though after I think about it, I don't think I'd actually get that one.

New Job

Start of a new patch in my life. I have now completed my first week of having a full-time job. It's pretty swell because I have a set schedule and weekends off. The only trouble is, is that I'm outta the house from 7am-8pm, mon-fri. I commute on the bus, which isn't so bad because honestly, if I drove, it would take me probably just as long and cost me twice or even 3-4 times as much. Also, being this busy means that I don't get to see my significant other as often as I like. She goes to school and has a part time job, while I'm working 40 hours a week and I still don't have a license yet. I have an appointment set at the dmv soon, so I hope all goes well and then I'll be a licensed driver and be able to visit her more often, woo! And with all that said, I'm going to be off to bed. I shoulda been asleep awhile ago. I'm going to wake up in a few hours actually, so tah tah, good night. See ya later...

It's HOT.

Why? Perhaps the seasons are changing, since what was suppose to be summer wasn't characteristic of what summer should look and feel like. This summer was full of gloomy days and temperatures of 70s and maybe 80s. It was weird. It's probably global warming. Winter will become summer, spring will be fall, summer will be spring and fall will be winter? Wait, did I get that right? Whatever, the point is it looks like the seasons are shifting forward!

And with all this heat, I just miss having a freaking desk. It's horrible sitting in this heat with a hot ass laptop laying on your lap! It's not comfy, I'll tell you that much, but I gotta use this thing, so I have to deal.

I was originally going to write about things that I hated at the moment, but I decided I should go for something more cheerful. Like, how I love free samples and coupons. They're neat. I think I shall go look for more online. Hurray for free things and discounts! :D
